The Outside Skate Jam is on!
It's time to show us your skills and tricks, enter one of the three categories, under 12's, under 16's and OPEN all judged by Sam Sheridan our Outside skate coach and George Chegwin and Shay Stone. Under 12's and Under 16's will be split into girls and boys.
Each category will be a mixed group of 20 skaters, please book into the relevant time slot above, the entry fee is £5 (free for members - please email, call or message us to join in!), you can find the timings below. You do not need to buy a ticket to spectate.
We'll have an outdoor BBQ serving up food all afternoon followed by pizza's and DJ's through to the evening!
As well as a day of epic skating and food we’ll be joined by Cerys Callard who will be running a ‘Decorate your Skate Deck’ workshop and Make Good Prints who will be printing customised Outside T-Shirts! Whether you are skating or spectating you won't want to miss this.
Timings on the day
12:30 pm - 1:30pm : Under 12’s Girls / Boys
2:00pm - 3:00pm : Under 16’s Girls / Boys
3:30pm - 4:30pm : Open
5:00pm - 6:00pm : Best Tricks!
From 6pm : Prize giving followed by Dj's
Prizes from Flatspot, Palace, Adidas, Antihero, Volcom, Yallah Coffee , Simpel, Habit, Vivo Barefoot, Disco, and Outside!
*All skaters must arrive and check in at least 30 minutes before skating and there will be a 30 minute warm for each category before the heats start.
In the case of wet weather the jam will have to be postponed to the following Saturday 14th June, please make sure you are able to make both weekends!
Please read our skate rules and fill in our waiver form before skating, under 16's must wear protective gear, there is a selection available to purchase or hire in the cafe if needed. You can find our Skate Rules here.
The bowl will be closed to non-competing skaters all day.
We have limited parking and it's first come / first serve, please car share and arrive with plenty of time for your heat.
No picnics / food and drink from off site can be consumed on site, we have taps to refill your water bottles and we have a great selection of food and drink available to purchase in the cafe!
