The Outside Ceramics Studio

Welcome to our new ceramics studio in Bantham, our drop-in sessions and courses run throughout the year, we have a variety of classes for absolute beginners through to seasoned potters.

Our Introduction to Ceramics class is perfect for absolute beginners or for those who'd like a refresh on the wheel. This class is a fun way to experience ceramics in a no pressure, relaxed environment. During the two-hour class you’ll have a good introduction to throwing on the wheel, and learn about each stage of the process.

If you enjoy the experience and would like to learn more, we also run eight week courses from a beginners course that is a comprehensive introduction to ceramics to Intermediate courses to refine improve your ceramics, on all our courses you will finish with a range of pieces made by you from start to finish.

Class sizes are always small, ranging between four and eight people depending on the type of class.
