A little bit about Robyn
Our course leader Robyn was the Farm Manager at Outside who brought to life the kitchen garden from its very beginnings as a bare field. She has over a decades experience as a grower and has been head grower at Landworks Garden on Dartington, Bugford Kitchen Garden and taught Horticulture at Schumacher College and Seed Saving for Gaia Foundation Seed Sovereignty Programme. Robyn is a mindfulness practitioner who gardens with an animist approach to growing, working in collaboration with the land.
“Growing food is both a sacred and radical act and I hope the garden will do more than grow food, that it will be a place to grow community, to speak out about food and land justice and a place to welcome those who may not feel they belong on the land to rejoin her.”
