One Day Pottery Special : Flowers & Vases!

This one day workshop is split into two parts, you will spend the morning designing, hand-building and decorating a beautiful vase in the ceramics studio, in the afternoon session you will learn the tips and techniques to create your own flower arrangements using locally sourced flowers. This workshop includes a delicious lunch in the cafe, a hot drink and a slice of cake.

Your tutors will be Fran Sandover, Fran is our pottery manager and runs all the courses here at Outside. Demelza Flew will be leading the floristry, she currently works for local florist Caroline Hodges.

This class is suitable for all abilities, the price of the workshop includes all materials, lunch, a hot drink and a slice of cake. Kiln firings for one vase are included in the course fee, if you would like to glaze and fire any additional pieces made on the day we charge a small £5 fee per item which can be paid for in the studio.

We supply aprons but please wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty! This course is suitable for ages 14+ and each course is for a small group of four people. We will let you know with as much notice in advance of any changes to the date or time of any of the classes.

Cancellations

You have 14 days from booking this course in which to cancel and receive a full refund, if you have booked last minute and there are less than 14 days before the date of the class no refund of exchange will be offered, but you can transfer the booking to a person of your choice.
