Introduction to Handbuilding

Perfect for anyone looking to get creative with clay, this relaxed and beginner friendly pottery class introduces adults to the basics of handbuilding. During the session, you'll be encouraged to make and decorate one ceramic piece of your choice, whether that's a cup, bowl or plate. You'll personalise your creation using coloured slips and simple decorative techniques, with the firing of one piece included in the class fee. No experience needed, just a willingness to get hands-on and try something new. Finished pieces will be ready for collection or postage within a maximum of eight weeks after the class.

We supply aprons but please wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty! This class is suitable for ages 14+ and for a maximum of six people, we will let you know with as much notice in advance of any changes to the date or time of this class. Please note that the last 10 minutes of this class will be for the tidy-up of your workstation.

Cancellations

You have 14 days from booking this class in which to cancel and receive a full refund or re-schedule, if you have booked last minute and there are less than 14 days before the date of the class no refund of exchange will be offered, but you can transfer the booking to a person of your choice to take your place.
