Pottery Special! Nerikomi Coasters

An introduction to nerikomi. In this two-hour class get to know the basics of the Japanese technique of nerikomi. Dissimilar to common techniques used within ceramics, nerikomi is the art of creating patterns within the clay body using different coloured clay. You will be given a selection of in-house colours to choose from and guided by Fran to create your own marble or check coasters.

All materials and firings are included in the class fee, we supply aprons but please wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty! This class is suitable for ages 14+. We require a minimum of 4 people for the class to go ahead, we will let you know with as much notice in advance of any changes to the date and time of this class.
