Kids! Introduction to Handbuilding

Perfect for young makers aged 7 to 13, this fun and creative pottery class introduces children to the world of clay through simple handbuilding techniques. During the session, kids will be encouraged to make and decorate one ceramic piece of their choice, whether that's a plate, bowl, jewellery holder, tea cup or figurine. They'll personalise their creation using coloured slips and simple decorative techniques, with the firing of one piece included in the class fee. No experience needed, just imagination and a willingness to get hands on! Your pieces will be ready for collection or postage a maximum of eight weeks after the class.

A parent or guardian must be present in the cafe for the duration of this class.

We supply aprons but please wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. We will let you know with as much notice in advance of any changes to the date or time of this class.

If you wish to buy this for someone else you can either notify us via email after purchase or otherwise you can purchase a digital gift card which can be used online to book any event, workshop, skate pass or purchase from the online shop.

Cancellations

You have 14 days from booking this class in which to cancel and receive a full refund or re-schedule, if you have booked last minute and there are less than 14 days before the date of the class no refund of exchange will be offered, but you can transfer the booking to a person of your choice to take your place.
