Your Tutor
Fran Sandover
Fran specialised in Ceramics during her time at Camberwell college of art, where she graduated with BA in 3D design. Since Graduating she has assisted classes and worked as a technician at Coombe Farm Studios, before helping to set up the pottery studio here at Outside. During her time here she has taught a wide variety of classes including mould making, Raku, throwing and hand building. Her favourite thing about teaching is helping her students to progress in their own way, focussing on each individuals journey. Her personal work is both sculptural and design focussed as she tries to bridge the gap between art and functionality, drawing inspiration from the magic of Dartmoor and 70s furniture design.
