4-Week Hand Building Course : Christmas Presents! *SOLD OUT*

Each week you will be shown a different hand building method; pinching, coiling, slab building and sculpting. With these four techniques you will have the tools to make nearly anything out of clay!

Weekly classes will focus on making and decorating a mug, two candle stick holders, a jewellery holder and a vase or jug.

This course is suitable for all abilities, ideal for complete beginners as well potters that are just getting started and would like to improve their handbuilding.

This course will be held every Thursday morning from 10am-12.20pm. All class dates are set and can’t be amended or swapped.

9th November : 10:00-12:20

16th November : 10:00-12:20

23rd November : 10:00-12:20

30th November : 10:00-12:20

Please note that the last 20 minutes of each class will be for the tidy-up of your wheel or workstation.

Materials and firings for the items mentioned above are included in the course fee, if you would like to glaze and fire any additional pieces we charge a small £5 fee per item which can be paid for in the studio.

We supply aprons but please wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty! This course is suitable for ages 14+ and each course is for a small group of four people. We will let you know with as much notice in advance of any changes to the date or time of any of the classes.

Cancellations

You have 14 days from booking this course in which to cancel and receive a full refund, if you have booked last minute and there are less than 14 days before the date of the class no refund of exchange will be offered, but you can transfer the booking to a person of your choice.
