What is the true cost of our consumption? As our appetite for new technology grows and our reliance on fossil fuels persists, we’re replacing precious marine life with plastic, poisoning our rivers, and devastating communities around the world.
Ceibo follows surfers Pacha Light and Lucy Small on a journey across Ecuador to learn from Ecuadorian women who are fighting to protect their environment and culture. From the land rights struggles of the Andes and Amazon, to an Olympic surfer paving the way for women, to the battle to safeguard the waters of the Galapagos Islands, Ceibo shines a light on some of the most urgent struggles of our time. Along the way, Pacha reconnects with her Ecuadorian roots and explores what it truly means to belong.
The film will be followed by an in-person Q&A with director Maddie Meddings.

Doors from 6pm, your ticket includes a bowl of food, we will be serving food from opening until 7.30pm, the bar will be open all evening!
We have a total of 100 tickets available, we have seating for everyone which is allocated on a first come first serve basis, we also have a number of seat cushions available but we can't guarantee you will get one so please feel free to bring your own too.
