8-Week Beginners Ceramics Course : Thursday Afternoons

Our beginners ceramics course is a comprehensive introduction to throwing and getting to know clay. Over eight classes you will learn each stage of making and will finish the course with a selection of your own work made by you from start to finish.

This class is suitable for all abilities, ideal for complete beginners as well potters that are just getting started and would like to improve their throwing.

This course will be held every Thursday afternoon from 4pm - 6.20pm. All class dates for this course are set and can’t be amended.

We have another beginners course running on Wednesday mornings from 10am - 12.20pm, please see our calendar for more information.

25th January : 16:00-18:20

1st February : 16:00-18:20

9th February : 16:00-18:20

15th February : 16:00-18:20

22nd February : 16:00-18:20

29th February : 16:00-18:20

7th March : 16:00-18:20

13th March : 16:00-18:20

*The last 20 minutes of each class is for tidying and cleaning your wheel/workstation.

All materials and firings are included in the course fee, we supply aprons but please wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty! This course is suitable for ages 14+ and each course is for a small group of four people. We will let you know with as much notice in advance of any changes to the date or time of any of the classes.

Cancellations

You have 14 days from booking this course in which to cancel and receive a full refund, if you have booked last minute and there are less than 14 days before the date of the class no refund of exchange will be offered, but you can transfer the booking to a person of your choice to take your place.
