Feast Night with Taguchi-Ya
WHATS ON
After closing the much loved Taguchi-Ya Canteen in Totnes last year, Yoshi and her team are returning to the kitchen at Outside on Wednesday 15th April for a Feast Night!
An izakaya (居酒屋) is the Japanese equivalent of a neighbourhood pub, a place to stay, eat, drink and unwind. The word itself comes from i (to stay) and sakaya (sake shop), and these spots have long been a social hub where work collegues and friends meet after work to share food and conversation. The food is casual, social, and built around bold flavours and dishes made to share, best enjoyed with beer or sake!
Taguchi-Ya built a following in Totnes for their flavourful and traditional home cooking in an unpretentious atmosphere. For this special night at
Outside, Yoshi and the team will be bringing that same spirit! Come hungry, bring some friends and settle in for an evening of Japanese street-side dining, Outside style.
