Her breakthrough third album, Light Sleeper, was produced by Aaron Dessnerof The National, who invited Bess to record at his renowned Long Pond Studio after discovering her music. Released to widespread critical acclaim, the record led to sold-out headline shows across the UK, Europe and North America, as well as her debut appearance at Glastonbury. Alongside glowing coverage from The Guardian, recent highlights include a beautifully understated BBC Maida Vale Studios live session for Steve Lamacq's BBC Radio 6 Music show.
With new music on the horizon and a fourth studio album due later this year, this is a special opportunity to experience one of Britain's finest contemporary songwriters in the intimate surroundings of Outside.
Doors at 6pm. Join us early for pizzas from 6–8pm, with happy hour running from 6–7pm and 10% off pizzas. We'll have the fire pits lit outside and, in good weather, the skate bowl will be open to skate or watch before the show.
